Originals
Push and Pull
An industrial rock instrumental song, featuring a trap drum beat, massive 808 kicks and heavily-distorted guitars. Written in 7/4 time signature at times drifting into the seldom-used locrian mode, this song is by far one of the most unique-sounding ones on this page.
Rock on Water (folk)
Indie folk-style love song, written for the love of my life
Welcome Home (Synthwave)
80’s inspired synthwave instrumental with a driving beat, pulsing synthesizers, and a vibing cat.
Stand Upright (Jazz)
Experimenting with my jazz influences, particularly with an upright bass, organ and electric guitar.
Covers
Cover songs are an amazing way to get to know your favorite songs on a deeper level: from finding hidden musical layers you never knew existed, performing and recording them with precision, to re-imagining the music videos.
Cake – The Distance
Recreating this seemingly-simple song was no cake-walk. It has many hidden layers, a particular drum pattern, and off-time background and foreground vocals. It is also the ultimate driving song, so naturally Gran Turismo 7 was the best choice for the footage.
Metallica – Enter Sandman
Cover of the iconic song “Enter Sandman” by Metallica. This song was the most fun to recreate because it was a huge influence on heavy metal and pushed it into the mainstream conversation.
Dvadeseti Vek – Bajaga
Outside the Balkans, not many people will recognize this 80’s Serbian hit “Dvadeseti Vek” (20th century) by Bajaga. Nonetheless, this song is extremely fun, energetic, and straddles the border between funk, rock and even some rap.
